LUGOFF — Dorothy Elizabeth Kauruter, 77, of Lugoff, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024. Born in Blair County, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Kenneth Wayne and Golda Claar Dunmire and the wife of the late Michael Raymond “Ray” Kauruter. Dorothy loved cooking and baking and feeding her family. She cherished spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters, Michelle Foreman (Michael), Marsha Rabon (Lee), Melinda Smith (Don), Maria Arnold (Steve), Dorothy Brandon (Keith), and Danielle Kauruter (Chris Anderson); her grandchildren, Michael, Nichole, Justin, Jacob, DJ, Ethan, Bobby, Anthony, Kacy, LB, and Bryce; 21 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Richard Dunmire (Barb), Timothy Dunmire, Edie Helsel, Diane Eyer, and Sylvia Adams (Chuck).
