ELGIN — Loretta Mae Baldwin, 87, of Elgin, was received into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Wood County, W. Va., she was the daughter of the late Orland W. and Olive R. Curfman, and the wife of 56 years to Charles Allen Baldwin. Loretta enjoyed fellowship with her church family and attended services at Christ Temple in West Virginia and the Elgin Church of God. She enjoyed camping at the beach and loved animals and flowers. Above all, Loretta cherished spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Baldwin is survived by her children, Portia Lynn Kyle (Gregory) of Elgin, Pam Bailey (John) of Elgin, and Lloyd Baldwin (Teresa) of Proctorville, Ohio; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Sharon Casto (Don) of Marietta, Ohio.
