Kershaw County Sheriff’s Foundation Chairman Benji Jackson (left) presents Master Deputy Jason Barnwell with a plaque naming him the Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office’s Deputy of the Quarter on April 16 as Chief Deputy Tyrrell “Rock” Coleman looks on from behind. Barnwell also received a $50 gift card. “Evidently, Master Deputy Barnwell is highly regarded by his peers in the sheriff’s office,” Jackson said. The Deputy of the Quarter award is presented at the end of each quarter by the sheriff’s office, sponsored by the foundation.
